Staff

Alongside the managers and assistant manager, there is a full staff team within the nursery. With 6 room leaders, 9 nursery nurses, 1 apprentice nursery nurse and 2 support staff, the nursery is able to provide continuous support for all children in our care. Staff turnover is low, with many staff members having worked at the setting for over 5 years.

Most staff have been fully trained in Pediatric First Aid and have also achieved a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Childcare. All staff have Safeguarding, Safer Food for Better Business training, food hygiene and Health and Safety. They hold relevant qualifications and receive on-going training in these. Other qualifications include: NCFE Level 2 in Equality & Diversity; Learning Disabilities; Autism Awareness; Infection Control; COSHH; and Moving & Handling.
